    Cornwall caught three touchdown passes, including one in overtime, to help Morehead State secure a 38-35 triple-overtime victory against Drake, Saturday. He caught 10 passes for 134 yards with touchdown receptions of 19, 14 and 25 yards. Cornwall’s 25-yard touchdown catch came on the Eagles only play of the second overtime, helping force a third extra period. Ealier, his 14-yard TD receipt gave MSU a 21-14 halftime lead. Cornwall also had a 30-yard reception on 3rd-and-10 to keep a Morehead State scoring drive alive in the second quarter. It was the most receiving yards allowed by the Drake defense this season.

    Jones rushed for a school-record 201 yards as Campbell downed Davidson, 39-9 in PFL action Saturday. He also set the Campbell single-season rushing record, ending the game with 946 yards with two games remaining in the campaign. Jones had 19 carries in the contest, with three touchdown runs of 51, 59 and two yards in the win. He now has five touchdown carries of 50-plus yards this season. It was the most yards allowed to a single rusher by the Davidson defense this season.

    In just his third game back, Keller posted a PFL season-best 4½ tackles for loss in Morehead State’s 38-35 triple-overtime victory against Drake, Saturday. Just three games into his return after being cleared from a potential career-ending blood infection, he notched his career high in sacks. Keller finished with 14 tackles (eight solo) and also had two sacks and a pass breakup.

    Searles intercepted a pass in the end zone to keep Jacksonville off the board in the first half of Dayton’s 31-14 PFL victory against Jacksonville. The only interception in the contest, it came with Jacksonville on the Dayton five-yard line with under a minute left in the first half and helped secure a 24-0 Dayton halftime lead. He also recorded seven tackles (five solo) in the contest and had 28 yards on four punt returns.

    Smith took over the PFL’s punting lead in Week 9, averaging 43.8 yards per punt in Dayton’s 31-14 win against Jacksonville, Saturday. Four of his punts were downed inside the 20-yard line, with his two shortest punts (35 and 36 yards) each downed inside the 10-yard line. The Dolphins managed just one yard on punt returns against him while the other four punts were downed. Jacksonville’s averaging starting position after Smith’s punts was its own 12-yard line. Smith is averaging a league-best 42.7 yards per punt in league play this season.
